The Jared Rimer Network's Privacy Policy and procedures

Welcome to the privacy policies and procedures section of the Jared Rimer Network. This will describe whats on each web site, any information collected, and what we do with it. Should you have any concerns, you may contact the Jared Rimer Network through our contact form or by giving Jared Rimer a call.

1. Web sites
• We have quite a number of web sites hosted under the Jared Rimer network. We will attempt to describe what the web sites are, if any information is collected, and what its purposes for collecting the information will be used for. Should we add more web sites, they will be added to this list.
• The home page of this web site lists all of the sub domains and pages around the network. This page includes links to this privacy policy page, a whats new page, and a contact page.
• The contact page has all of Jared's contact information including a bug reporting and contact form. All information asked for is optional except for a valid E-mail address. This may change, and the policy will be updated if it does.
• On the Jared Rimer and All InPlay team up web page, we collect information only if you contact us through its contact form. This web site was formerly known as the WBBY and All inPlay team up web page, where we would provide ternaments and other audio to the community. The contact form contacts Jared Rimer only, and we only use the information to contact you, then discard it unless we would like to save it. All inPlay wishes to be contacted through their web site and as December 25, 2008: this change was implemented by All inPlays request. The form is still the same however.
• The AMW Reloaded Podcast is a web site for one of our podcasts. The only way we collect information is if you contact Jared Rimer through the web site. We may add to the contact form to include the other hosts, but if we do, they will be contacted as well. Contact information is given for everyone who participates on the show. The contact information is for the two main people who do the show, Jared Rimer and John Field.
• The information about the code amber project web page points to Code Amber. No information is collected on this site at this time. If a form is developed for signup to be part of the helpers, we will notify you at that time what it will collect and what we will use it for.
• Jared's live journal is there as a blogging platform. I'll blog about whatever I want. for people over 18 recommended although I'm not responsible if you are under 18. Live Journal is separate from this network, and I'm not responsible for errors or issues here.
• MENVI has its own privacy policy. You should read it when visiting its web page as we talk about different aspects of places where personal information is collected and used. Please read its policies.
• Jared's Personal Web Page is where you can find information about me. I have a contact form on that page to which you can contact me. The information is used to contact you, then discarded.
• Jared's Podcasts list all of the podcasts in which he partakes or is involved in. No information is taken from this page.
• Superior Software Level One is a business web page and has a policy already on it which should be read.
• The Technology Blog and Podcast is a podcast and blog web site where you can register to comment, and contact information is given on a page about the blog and podcast. External links may be provided that are not part of the network. We do not collect personal information on that site except for E-mail, but I don't easily have access to that. Passwords can't be seen by me, but I can reset it if you give me your user name.
• Jared's twitter page is linked so you can find out what Jared is up to. Twitter is a separate web site so we're not responsible for any errors on that web site.
• Jared's whats new page lists what has been updated and whats new on the network. News is cycled after some time, so check it out from time to time to be sure you're kept up to date.
• The advertise with us page lists guidelines, and so forth in regards to posting advertised web sites with the Jared Rimer Network. We do not collect any personal information on the web page.
2. E-mail addresses
• There will be E-mail addresses that will be handed out over the network. Mainly those people who had addresses on WBBY's suite of networks including codeamber and personal. Here is what you are going to agree to.
• You agree not to use your E-mail address to send out spam, harass, threaten, slander, give out people's personal information, send harmful material including viruses, worms, etc.
• If you do any of these things (upon a report to me or anyone that is designated to help me) you will be called by me to find out what the problem was. If there is enough proof without a phone call, your address will go. If we call you, we will talk to you, and find out what happened, and a decision will be made at that time.
• All addresses on the network will have a limit of 25mb (megabytes) for your E-mail. Unless you previously had a higher limit, you must have this limit of 25mb.
• The Jared Rimer Network will not monitor your E-mail. Should you lose your password, your account is compromised, or anything is done with your account without your knowledge, the Jared Rimer Network must be notified as soon as you know something is wrong. We will disable the address upon an E-mail or phone call. Should you have only lost your password, we will call you to reset your password, no exceptions!)
• The Jared Rimer Network has the right to terminate your account upon a report by anyone, and may disable your account by changing its password, or deleting it without notice to you. Depending on the situation is dependant on this policy. We will endeavor to call you first and give you 7 days to return our call. This will allow time for us so that we can return your call since we will have a full time job.
3. E-mail lists
• There will be E-mail lists listed on the network. The Jared Rimer Network is not responsible for anything on these lists that do not pertain to the network. The only lists that pertain to the network will be a users list, which will be created once all E-mail addresses are created, to notify you of downtime, or any network issues. The other is the code amber helpers list. If any other lists exist either by us creating them for others, or if they move an existing list to our domains, we will not be responsible for their content.
4. Conference bridge
• The Jared Rimer network is opening up a conference bridge to the network as a whole. This means that the conference bridge will be available to any web site on this network who would like one. You will need to enter a conference code, and there will be one public accessible code to the network to congregate.
• The public access code is for everyone. The Jared Rimer Network may from time to time review logs in to the bridge to troubleshoot problems, or ban people who are causing a problem. We will never call anyone for any reason unless you need us to do so.
• Only Jared Rimer or anyone who may have web access will have access to logs. You may call in to the bridge anonymously if you choose, but if there is a problem that requires us to investigate, and the person happen to call in anonymously, the result will be that everyone will need to call with a number showing.
• When reporting a problem in the bridge, please give us the time in which it occurred and approximately how long they were out. The logs give the starting time of the caller, and this will help determine who it might be. All complaints may be left by calling Jared Rimer who's information can by found on our contact and bug reporting form. If you would like to call Jared to file the complaint, you may do so. You may also fill out a contact form as well, the choice is yours.
